Tanzanian Premier League Champions Simba Sports Club is in Turkey for pre-season training ahead of the 2018/2019 Tanzania League season with Ghanaian trio Nicholas Gyan, James Kotei and Akwasi Asante.
A Contingent made up of players, technical team members and some management members left the Julius Nyerere lnternational Airport on Sunday for a two weeks pre-season training in Turkey.
Simba sc won the 2017/2018 league title after a stiff challenge from Rival club Young Africans(Yanga) and Azam Fc and are set to represent the country in the 2018/2019 CAF Champions League Competition.
The Msimbazi Kariakoo based club were eliminated last season by Egyptian side El Masry in the Caf Confederation cup.
The preparation for the new season started early last month when they took part in the 2018 Cecafa-Kageme Cup andĀ lost to Azam Fc 2-1 in the finals.
