Ghanaian forward, William Opoku-Mensah scored a brace in his debut game for FC Motown in their 4:1 win in the United States league two on Friday, March 17, 2023
The former Asante Kotoko striker netted his first goal of the season for FC Motown in the 19th minute before adding the second in the 36th minute.
Opoku-Mensah joined FC Motown for the rest of the league season on Thursday after a successful mandatory medicals.[ads4]
He made his debut a day after joining the club on a free transfer.
This is the second time Opoku-Mensah has signed for an American club after stint with USL Championship side Swoop Park Rangers in 2019.
Before joining FC Motown, William Opoku-Mensah was the leading marksman for Mukura Victory in the Rwanda Premier League where he won the topscorer award.
The former Karela United skipper is expected to strengthen the FC Motown attack his with vast experience.
He has also played for Sekondi Eleven Wise and Liberty Professionals all in Ghana .
