Discussions on radio, television and social media platforms in Ghana is dominated by the sudden demise of ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) senior member Sir John.
Known in real life as Kwadwo Osei Owusu Afriyie, the former General Secretary of the NPP was announced dead on Wednesday, July 1, 2020.
Sir John, a legal practitioner died at the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital on Wednesday from the novel Coronavirus.
Since his death yesterday, Ghanaians have took to various media platforms to mourn the highly respected politician.

Before his death, Sir John as affectionately called was the CEO of the Forestry Commission, an office he assumed in March 2017.
