Ghanaian international defender Alidu Seidu has been named in the French Ligue 1 squad of the week a result of his outstanding performance for Clermont Foot in their match against Toulouse.

When his team came from behind to draw 2-2 with Toulouse on Sunday, Seidu was a rock at the back.
The 23-year-old quarterback finished with a 93% passing accuracy after 78 touches, 12 ball recoveries, three interceptions, three successful tackles, and one blocked shot.
After only eight minutes of play, the home team took the lead through Zakaria Aboukhlal, and six minutes later, Toulouse doubled its lead through Frank Magri.
