Sugarcane Hitmaker, Camidoh has been nominated for the Best New International Act in the 2022 edition of the Black Entertainment.
Camidoh, born Raphael Camidoh Kofi Attachie is in line for the top Black Entertainment Award.
Camidoh will compete for the award alongside; Nigeria’s Asake, FLO and Raye of UK, Libianca of Cameroon, MC Ryan SP of Brazil, Papi Cooper of South Africa and Maureen and Werendi both from France.
The “BET Awards” is set to commemorate 50 years of Hip Hop and will be broadcast live on BET on Sunday, June 25, 2023, at 8 PM ET/ 5 PM PT. The event, known as Culture’s Biggest Night, promises to be an exciting celebration of the global impact of the Hip Hop genre.
Camidoh shot into the limelight in 2018 and performed at Citi TV’s Entertainment Achievers Awards and later Manifestivities in 2020.
He’s collaborated earlier with Kelvynboy, Kwesi Arthur and Darkovibes before his single Sugarcane grabbed global headlines.
