The Ghana Health Service have reported that, the country’s Covid-19 active cases has now reached 2,413.
This is after a new cases of 658 have been recorded.[ads2]
Three more persons have lost their lives to the virus, bringing the total death toll to 361.
The Greater Accra has recorded the highest with 1,182 active cases followed by the Ashanti Region with 312 then Western Region with 152 cases according to the data from the Ghana Health Service.[ads3]
So far, Oti and Savannah regions are yet to record an active case.
Eighty-three and 28 persons are reported to be in severe and critical conditions respectively but receiving treatment at various health facilities in the country.[ads4]
About 428 persons who arrived in Ghana recently via the Kotoka International Airport tested positive for the virus and are currently going through isolation and quarantine processes.
