” Our goal as a Foundation is to impact the lives of Ghanaians” , he said.
” We had a request from the Management of the Prisons and upon delibrating on their plea, we found out that, sanitation issues is a worry to them and we finally concluded to support. As a Foundation, we believe in you don’t punished to destroyed but to reformed and their health issues need our attention.
He disclossed that, after the Foundation’s inspection yesterday at the Prison Centre, prior to the fumigation exercise today, it was revealed that, the centre which has to accommodate maximum of 250 inmates now has over 750 inmates and its need urgent attention.
“We did an inspection yesterday and we came across that, the edifice was meant for 250 inmates but currently has over 750 which is very pathetic and so therefore sanitation at the Centre is also poor and I urge all Corporate bodies to support them because the government cannot do everything. Currently most of them are engaging in carpentry, masonry, farming and other stuffs and I think with the help of other corporate bodies, these inmates will come out as employable”.
