Ghana National Petroleum Corporation [GNPC] Foundation is set to construct five artificial pitches Nationwide.
Out of the five pitches that will be constructed, one will be constructed in Tarkwa for Medeama SC and the other in the constituency of the Deputy Minister of Energy, Hon. Joseph Cudjoe [Efia Constituency] all in the Western Region with work set to commence this year after approval from the board.
However, the Foundation will also construct one in Bekwei in the Ashanti Region with work expected to commence this year.
Our source say, the Foundation will construct one for Premier League side, Karela United in Ayinase in the Ellembele District come next year but the constructors are yet to receive approval from the board.
The remaining will be constructed in 2019 as well but the Foundation are yet to determine where the remaining pitches will be constructed with confirmation from the board.
