The GNPC Foundation, on Wednesday January 20, conducted the Technical Handing over of an ultramodern 3-storey Administrative block for the Bibiani Nursing Training College.
The facility, which comprises Lecture halls, ICT block and administrative offices, is expected to augment the College’s dire infrastructural deficit and improve overall academic experience.[ads2]
Handing over the keys to the Municipal Assembly and the school’s authority, Executive Director of GNPC Foundation, Dr. Dominic Eduah, at the short ceremony, charged them to ensure proper maintenance of the facility. “It is our expectation that this building would be properly cared for in order that it serves both the students of now and also those who would enroll here in many years to come,” he said.
He added that the huge investment made in putting up the facility meets, not only the educational needs of young people in the region but also “contributes, overall, to the training of health professionals who are of utmost importance to the development of Ghana and especially in these precarious times of a global pandemic.”[ads3]
