Ghanaian-owned airline, Goldstar Air in conjunction with Prof Bluffs Company Limited, a US logistic company based in Rhode Island and Ghana presented mattresses and personal protective equipments to Royal Seed Orphanage in the Central Region on Friday 30th April, 2021.
The items were presented on behalf of both companies by the Executive Chairman/Chief Executive Officer of Goldstar Air Mr. Eric Bannerman and Chief Executive Officer of Prof Bluffs Company limited Mr. Kwaku Afful and were received by Madam Eva Agbezuke of Royal Seed Orphanage which forms part of the corporate social responsibilities of the two companies.
The donation is to assist the management of the orphanage to cater for the orphans. The home has contributed its bid towards providing for the less privileged in society, hence the companies need to contribute to the efforts of the orphanage.
The management team was elated and extended heartfelt thanks and appreciation to Goldstar Air and Prof Bluffs Company Limited for their kind gesture reflecting their good heartedness.
They also assured the management and staff of both companies that the orphanage will utilize the items to the benefit of the kids, with an appeal to other corporate bodies to take a cue from these two companies to make similar donations.
Both companies aims at improving the Ghanaian economy through the provision of affordable and available international travel, provide job opportunities and the airline’s impressive strides in corporate social responsibility, corporate vision, inspiration and pioneering innovations in Ghana are critical parts of the country’s transformation agenda towards economic growth.
Goldstar Air will initially be flying to twelve destinations namely London, Dubai, Washington, Lagos, Rhode Island, Guangzhou, Monrovia, Abidjan, Freetown, Banjul, Dakar and Conakry. The airline will bring more benefits to travelers in terms of services and fares and has made adequate provisions to cater for passengers by introducing Ghanaian dishes, local movies and announcements will also be made in Ghanaian dialects during takeoff and landing, as a way of showcasing the Ghanaian culture to the rest of the world.
Goldstar Air cabin crew will be selling made in Ghana goods and promoting Ghana tourist sites on board, as we would like our passengers to have a smile when leaving our offices and our aircrafts.
Goldstar Air provides a total of sixty nine (69) kilograms per passenger, three-piece baggage allowance with a hand luggage not exceeding ten kilograms to ensure that our passengers are able to transport sufficient luggage for their personal use. Madam Naomi Amoah started the Royal Seed Orphanage in 1997 and did the registration in the year 2002 with four children and now she has over two hundred and fifty children from eight (8) months to seventeen (17) years including special children at her orphanage.
Present to grace the occasion were officials from Goldstar Air, Mr Edmund Lamptey, Mr Charles Nettey of Goldstar Air and Madam Esther Sakyi and Madam Elizabeth Agyemang of Royal Seed Orphanage.
