The Executive Director of Lemuel Essieh Education Foundation [LEEF], Georgina Adopley says good parenting coupled with high early quality learning for children is one sure way in bringing up kids and securing a better future for them.
According to the philanthropist and an educationist, every child deserves the best possible start in life and the support that enables them to fulfill their potential, for her children to develop quickly in the early years and therefore require quality education at that stage.
”For this reason government needs to focus attention on education at the preparatory level in the country since successive governments have done little or nothing to bring improvement in educating the Ghanaian child”, She said.
Mrs. Adopley was speaking with Maxx News after donating 100 plastic chairs and 90 tables to the Anaji MA Kindergarten school.
The head teacher of Anaji MA kindergarten, Margaret Boabeng was full of praise for the kind gesture displayed by LEEF. She educating a child is not the sole responsibility of the teacher, hence the need for individuals and cooperate bodies in the region to invest in the less privileged educational facilities in the society by emulating the gesture of LEEF.
However, she assured the NGO of management’s resolve to put to good use the plastic chairs and tables donated.
