The government of Ghana has extended the free water policy to the end of the year 2020.
This was contained in a release from the Ministry of Sanitation and Water Resources signed by the sector Minister Honorable Cecilia Abena Depaah.

The free water policy has been extended for another three months and will start from October 1 and end on December 31, 2020.

According to the release, this is to help Ghanaians continue with the coronavirus safety protocols, particularly the washing of the hands frequently.
