A fishing boat that overturned close to Ada West District in the Greater Accra Region resulted in the death of one person.
As reported by Accra-based Citi News, the incident occurred on Wednesday, May 29, 2024, with ten people on board.
The boat experienced a leak, which led to its sinking, as stated by the Ada West National Disaster Management Organization (NaDMO).
Two Ghanaians were lost when the boat sank, leaving three others afloat. The fifth person was subsequently found to be dead, and his body was taken to the mortuary.
