West Ham manager Graham Potter has expressed his satisfaction about the improved work ethic of Ghanaian forward Mohammed Kudus. The Black Stars talismanic player was in superb form during their encounter with Arsenals.
He was decisive with his surging runs as he tormented the Gunners defenders especially Myles Skelly as he was shown a straight red card after VAR intervention. He denied Kudus of a goal scoring opportunity. After the game Graham Potter said about the forward.
“He [Mohammed Kudus] was really good. I think every day, he is a bit of an example. Every day in training, he’s been really, really good. His effort and application have been top. Sometimes when the team isn’t functioning as well as you would like, the individuals within it sometimes don’t look as good as they can be.
But actually, he’s been brilliant, and I think he got his reward today because his performance was fantastic.”
Kudus has recently come under intense pressure after a poor run of form under former manager Lepotegui.
