The executives of the Great United Footballers Association(GUFA) have on today 2nd March, 2019 paid a courtesy call on Bantamahene, Nana Baffour at his residence.
The visitation was to introduce to the Bantamahene, Great United Footballers Association and what they intend to do to help footballers in the country.
Nana Baffour however welcomed the delegation and hailed them for instituting such an association which intend to seek for the welfare of both active and retired Ghanaian footballers.
Present at the visitation exercise was the President of GUFA, Francis Akwaffo and his Vice Gabriel Opoku alongside Iddrisu Yahaya.
Great United Footballers Association instituted to seek for the welfare of both active and retired Ghanaian players currently has over total membership of 250.
Asante Kotoko captain Amos Frimpong as well Felix Annan, Malik Akowuah, Samuel Afful, Vincent Atingah, Abeiku Ainooson, among others are active footballers who are members of the association. It also has retired stars like Joseph Hendricks, Yusif Chibsah etc.
