Ghanaian trio comprising of Nicholas Gyan, James Kotei and Akwasi Asante are ready for the 2019 edition of the Mo Simba Awards which comes off later tonight in Dar es Salaam.
The Mo Simba Awards was initiated by the majority shareholder of the club, Mohammed Dewji in appreciation of players who performed extremely wonderful in a particular season.
The trio combined contributed immensely to the success of the team as they defended gallantly the Tanzania Premier League and also made it to the quarterfinals of the CAF Champions League for the very first time in the club’s history.
James Agyekum Kotei due to his spectacular form this season has been nominated in the midfielder of the year category and will battle with colleagues Jonas Mkude and Mzamiru Yasin for the award.
