Hafiz Konkoni, a former forward for Bechem United, travels to Ghana with the Young Africans Sports Club in advance of Friday’s crucial CAF Champions League match between Medeama Sporting Club.
The gifted forward became a cornerstone of the Tanzanian team when he signed with the giants of Tanzania in July 2023 after leaving Bechem United.
The 23-year-old striker, who has started all three of the Young Africans CAF Champions League games, has one assist and one goal.
While Medeama looks to draw in more support from their home crowd, Konkoni is currently competing for his Young Africans in his home nation.
The Yellow and Mauve boys have made their home a fortress in their debut CAF Champions League campaign.
The game is scheduled to take place at Baba Yara Sports Stadium on December 8, 2023.
