Black Stars midfielder Afriyie Acquah says he will be excited to be in the team’s starting eleven against Tunisia on Monday.
Afriyie Acquah who has capped two matches in the ongoing AFCON for Ghana as a substitute believes even though all the 23 players in camp deserve to get a slot in the starting lineup, he would be much happier to start for the Black Stars against Tunisia on Monday.
“I will be happy when given a slot in the starting lineup for the Tunisia game. Even though all the 23 players deserve to be in the starting lineup, I will be much happier to see my name among the starting eleven”, Acquah told pressmen.
The Empoli enforcer indicated that, the Black Stars players are determined to beat Tunisia on Monday to continue the dream of winning the AFCON trophy alive.
Meanwhile, the four times AFCON champions will face the Carthage Eagles in the round sixteen stage of the ongoing AFCON on Monday, July 8, 2019 at the Ismailia Stadium with the game scheduled for 7:00PM Ghana time.
