Head coach for Sekondi Hasaacas Ladies, Abdul Yusif Basigi is excited after his secured qualification to the quarter-finals of the Women’s Special Competition.
Hasaacas whipped Soccer Intellectuals 2:1 on Wednesday afternoon at the Sekondi Gyendu Park to place second on the group C table.
Speaking to pressmen after the cagey encounter, the Black Princesses gaffer hinted that his side stuck to his game plan which gave them the sounding victory.
” Am extremely excited to secure a qualification with Hasaacas Ladies because we started the competition poorly but gained our form midway of the group stages.
” The girls stuck to my game plan that resulted in the victory. We will prepare harder for the next stage of the competition to gain us qualification to the semis”, he added.
Hasaacas Ladies qualified to the quarter-finals alongside group leaders Sea Lions who drew at home today against Ladystrikers.
