Hearts of Oak coach, David Ocloo has attributed his side’s embarrassing defeat against Medeama SC to poor defending.
The Phobians were hammered 5:1 by Medeama in matchday 31 of the Ghana Premier League at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday, May 21, 2023.
It was a game Hearts of Oak were outplayed throughout the entire ninety minutes despite playing at home.
Speaking after the game, David Ocloo who was highly disappointed with the output of his players described the result as embarrassing.
“We defended very poorly in both halves, we allowed a lot of spaces which Medeama used to punish us. It’s very embrassing result but comgrats to Medeama”, Ocloo said.
He further revealed that winning the Ghana Premier League this season will be extremely difficult but his side will return back stronger to fight for a top four position.
After smashing Hearts of Oak at the Accra Sports Stadium, Medeama SC have moved to the summit of the league table with 53 points while Aduana Stars sit second with 52 points.
