Ghana Premier League heavyweight Hearts of Oak have parted ways with striker Abednego Tetteh.
The lanky goal poacher has had his contract with the reigning Ghana Premier league champions terminated due to poor performance since joining the team.[ads2]
Tetteh joined the Phobians in May, 2020 on a three-year deal but failed to live up to expectations.
The former Bechem United forward struggled with regular playing time at Hearts of Oak despite the team winning the Ghana Premier League and the Ghana FA Cup in the just ended season.[ads3]
And after barely fifteen months, Abednego Tetteh has had his three-year contract abrogated by the management of Hearts of Oak.
Announcing his departure from Hearts of Oak on social media, Abednego Tetteh wrote that, “Good bye mates, we shall meet again maybes as opponents or somewhere else. Good luck in your CAF competition and the coming League. The moments we had still remain in my heart and mind. To the beautiful supporters thanks for your supports. Not forgetting the team doctors love you guys. Cowards never start. Weak never finish. And the strong never quit.”
He made only five appearances for Hearts of Oak in all competition this season.[ads5]
