Hearts of Oak midfielder Eric Esso will be unavailable for the team’s trip to Mali to face AS Real Bamako in the second round of the CAF Confederation Cup.[ads2]
The talented defensive midfielder will not be part of the Hearts of Oak squad to travel to Bamako for the cagey encounter this weekend due to issues with his registration.
Esso has been phenomenal since joining Hearts of Oak on a three-year deal from AshantiGold SC in August this year.[ads3]
In his absence, coach David Ocloo is expected to rely on Caleb Amankwah for the AS Real Bamako games.
Hearts of Oak are expected to leave Ghana for Mali on Thursday, October 6, 2022 for the first leg of the CAF Confederation Cup second round this weekend.[ads4]
