Ghana Premier league powerhouse, Hearts of Oak are close to landing a partnership deal with two clubs abroad.
As part of its strategic road map to regain prominence in Africa, the reigning Ghana Premier league champions are on the verge of securing a partnership deal with German Bundesliga outfit TSG Hoffenheim.[ads2]
Not only TSG Hoffenheim, but the Phobians will also be announcing deal with American Major League Eastern Conference outfit FC Cincinnati.
According to a statement from Hearts of Oak, top executives of the two clubs have landed in Ghana to conclude discussions and the deals could be announced in the next coming days.[ads3]
Hearts of Oak had a fruitful campaign in the 2020/21 league season by winning the Ghana Premier league title and the Ghana FA Cup trophy under current head coach Samuel Boadu.
The Accra-based club are currently participating in the ongoing CAF Champions League after winning the Ghana Premier league title.
The Phobians have qualified for the final round of the CAF Champions league prelims after eliminating CI Kamsar from Guinea.[ads4]
Hearts of Oak will be facing Moroccan giant Wydad Athletic in the final round of the CAF Champions League before making it to the group stages of the competition.
