Hearts of Oak have won their second trophy of the season after beating AshantiGold SC in the Ghana FA Cup final on Sunday.
The Phobians managed to defeat a determined AshantiGold side 8:7 on penalties after drawing goalless in the regulation time.

There was excitement, tension, anxiety at the Accra Sports Stadium throughout the 120 minutes of action as both teams created some opportunities but failed to make good use of the opportunity created.

The thirty minutes of extra time offered the two teams the opportunity to find the net of each other but all efforts went fruitless, and they had to be separated by penalty shootouts.
Hearts of Oak managed to emerge victorious in the penalty shootouts by 8:7 to lift the 2021 FA Cup trophy at the expense of AshantiGold SC.
