The Board Member of Hearts of Oak, Alhaji Barima Akambi has been disqualified from contesting the Ghana Football Association Executive Council race as communicated on Wednesday, September 6, 2023.
The Election Committee sighted issues of unqualified signatories which endorsed the Accra Hearts of Oak Board Member.

Akambi has until Monday, September 11, 2023 to file an appeal to correct the anomalies failure which will mean he’s recused from the race.
