Despite their poor performance in the league, Hearts of Oak players, according to vocal board member Vincent Odotei Sowah, are living their best lives at the club.
He shared the amazing news about how the Hearts players are enjoying and living their lives during Tuesday’s media briefing.
Odotei Sowah acknowledged the difficulties the club is facing, such as the firing of former coach Martin Koopman and their position in the league. Despite the setbacks, he was upbeat about Hearts of Oak’s future, highlighting the players’ personal growth.
According to him, some of the club’s players have accomplished significant life goals, like starting their businesses, buying cars, and even going overseas.
“Everything is in place for the club to be successful. Hearts of Oak players who have not traveled before are building houses, they are buying cars; we look at their welfare,” the former MP said.
He added, “I mean, I recall a video that circulated before the season started of Hearts of Oak players arriving at their hostel where they were driving cars.”
Recently, ASZ ranked Hears of Oak as the ninth worst-performing club in Africa, with some African giants like Wydad, Etoile, Nkana, etc.
