French Cognac production company Hennessy has released a teaser of an outstanding lineup for its upcoming cypher which features Ghana’s M.anifest to mark Hip Hop’s 50th Anniversary.
The teaser which was first shared on Instagram by the French Distillery Company[Hennessy] on Friday, August 11, 2023 was captioned “as the world celebrate the 50th Anniversary of…” – the Bronx, New York born genre, Hip Hop, which global influence is undeniably huge.
December 23, 2022 saw Hennessy serving a hot cypher which featured the ‘crime de la crime’ of the Rap game on the continent and included Ghana’s M.anifest, M.I Abaga and Vector from Nigeria, Octopizzo from Kenya and South Africa’s A-Reece.
The Ghanaian stood tall according to several YouTube breakdown accounts and here again, he’s featured in another lineup which has three Rappers of the previous edition.

M.anifest, A-Reece and Octopizzo maintained their places in this one and several others added to this list to eulogize the genre.
Uganda’s Navio completes the list of Rappers from the African continent.
M.anifest has hinted on an upcoming project possibly to be released later this year – he last released MTTU Epilogue, a deluxe version of his last project Madina to the Universe.
