Former Asante Kotoko Chairman, Herbert Mensah has heaped praises to the team for winning the 2021/22 Ghana Premier League title.
Kotoko clinched their 25th league title after one-all stalemate against AshantiGold Sporting Club in Obuasi on Thursday, June 2, 2022.
Congratulating the team for the winning the Ghana Premier League with three games to spare, Herbert Mensah showered praises on the management of the club led by ace football administrator Nana Yaw Amponsah.
According to Herbert Mensah, the innovative ideas from the management of the club, has propelled the team to winning the ongoing Ghana Premier league title.
“I have to congratulates the Fabulous Boys [Asante Kotoko]… The significant of this victory is fantastic because we predicted it. My interest has always been how the team is winning on and off the field, that’s a sign of greatness”, Herbert Mensah said in a video available to Kyfilla.com.
He added that, “securing lots of sponsorship deals, and the financial restructuring has helped the team to win both on and off the field this season. I will congratulates Nana Yaw Amponsah and his management, technical team and the entire playing body as well as the supporters for their unflinching support throughout the season.”
Despite winning the league title, Asante Kotoko will have to play Elmina Sharks, Great Olympics and Accra Lions to end the league
