In his tribute, Mr. Herbert Mensah who worked with Steve Noi said that, “Thank you for your kind words. Steve as we fondly referred to him was a silent giant who played a massive role in helping to get Ghana on the World Rugby map. Over the past years he almost single handedly managed the domestic league, professionalised it and ensured that with compliance WR and RA accepted our model.
“Indeed he mentored many young Ghanaians and gave hope when others would not. Over the past year he has driven various programmes including reform in our Union, compliance by regional associations in line with Global directives and taken over the management of inter relations with RA
“Steve became unwell a few ago and funnily that drew us closer as we worked to manage difficult times.[ads3]
“We did our best and Steve always appreciated that. Importantly the last few months, weeks, days and hours were spent with Steve being strong and content.
God knows best and we raise our hearts to God to protect His spirit!
God Bless Steven Noi”
