The 2019 GA Homowo Cup between Hearts of Oak and city rivals Great Olympics has been rescheduled to a new date.

The match was initially scheduled for October 6, 2019 has been rescheduled to October 13, 2019 at the Accra Sports Stadium.

According to the organizers, the postponement has become necessary due to an emergency schedule of the specially invited guests who, unfortunately, cannot make it to the venue as planned.

Even though the match will serve as a preparatory test for the upcoming league season, it will also be a game to determine who get the bragging rights as the winner of the biggest festival (Homowo) in the GA traditional history.
