The Member of Parliament for Atwima Mponua Constituency in the Ashanti Region, Hon. Isaac Asiamah on Thursday, July 2, 2020 paid unannounced visit to voter registration centres in the Constituency.
The legislator who is also the Minister for Youth and Sports toured communities likes Nyinahin, Mpasatia and the others to ascertain how the registration exercise is going.
Hon. Asiamah observed that all the communities he visited, before entering a registration centre, all persons are required to wear a nose mask, after which their temperatures are taken by nurses stationed at each centre. Eligible persons are then required to wash their hands with soap under running water, before being allowed to join the queue.

At each of the centres, there was strict adherence to social distancing, with eligible voters maintaining a one (1) metre, after which the voters go through the process to be registered.
According to him, he was impressed with the level of cooperation between the potential registers and the Electoral officers and their adherence to the Coronavirus protocols.

He seized the opportunity to call on all his constituents to register in their numbers and urged them to continue adhering to the safety protocols.
He promised that he and his team will continue to monitor the exercise till it comes to an end in August 6, 2020 as issued by the Electoral Commission of Ghana.
