Member of Parliament for Assin Central, Honorable Kennedy Agyapong is set to take over King Faisal Football Club.

According to Alhaji Grusah who is the founder of the club, Kennedy Agyapong could take over the Kumasi based club should talks go on smoothly.
Initially, former Bayern Munich defender Samuel Osei Kuffour was the one to take over the club but Alhaji Grusah has disclosed that, management of the club have not heard from Osei Kuffour again after their first meeting.
Alhaji Grusah in an interview with Atinka FM noted that, they have begun talks with Honorable Kennedy Agyapong for a possible take over of the club.
“Since Sammy Kuffour met us to discuss taken over King Faisal, we have not seen him again, so we have to move on”, Alhaji Grusah told Atinka FM.
“We are currently talking to Honorable Kennedy Agyapong over many issues including helping us to secure a place to play our home matches”, he added.
King Faisal will participate in the 2019/20 Ghana Premier League season after being reinstated back to the Ghanaian top-flight football alongside Great Olympics.
