Columbus Crew midfielder Yaw Yeboah has stated that he will be excited to play for the Black Stars in the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations in Ivory Coast.
Coach Chris Hughton has included the 26-year-old on his 55-man provisional roster for the competition that takes place the following month.
After a good season in Major League Soccer, Yeboah is keen to make an impression at the Nations Cup, with the final team announcement scheduled on January 3.
“For me, I am always ready. Whenever I have the chance to represent the country, I will make sure I am always ready. The world has seen it. Ghanaians have seen it so right now I will get myself ready for whatever happens. I can’t stop. Nothing stops me. I just have to keep playing well, training well and whatever happens in future happens.” Yaw Yeboah stated.
Yeboah is eager to demonstrate his abilities on the continent, having just returned to Ghana from Columbus Crew, where he won the MLS title.
