Well-known musician and businessman Kwame Nsiah-Apau, better known by his stage name Okyeame Kwame, has stated unequivocally that he is not a part of Dr. Mahamadu Bawumia’s Manifesto Committee.
The singer highlighted that he has no political ties to the New Patriotic Party (NPP), which is currently in power, and that his knowledge is not limited to any one political ideology.
He emphasized that he is dedicated to supporting the political landscape as a whole and said that all political parties can utilize his expertise.
The “Yekoo” hitmaker revealed in a press release that he is not getting paid for his alleged committee membership.
“I want to reassure my followers that I remain impartial and uninvolved in politics, a stance I’ve upheld throughout my career. He clarified, saying, “I have not received any payment or official invitation from H.E. The Vice President’s campaign team to participate in the arts and tourism manifesto committee.”
Okyeame further mentioned his willingness to offer his expertise to any political party interested in leveraging his knowledge in the creative industry.
