Ghanaian Artist, Kidi speaks on the profound changes that have occurred in his life since he stopped making music in March of last year.
In an open discussion with Andy Dosty on Daybreak Hitz, Kidi discussed the insightful times of reflection he had while taking a vacation from music.
Kidi stated that his mentality has undergone a significant change as a result of his time away from the spotlight. He said that he had changed and was no longer the same person he had been in February. He now has a deeper grasp of several facets of life as a result of this period of reflection.
“There has been a lot of shift in my mind. I am not the same person I was in February. Now I have reached a place where I understand certain things in life.
“I now know that when people come on social media and say the things they say, it’s not really about me. Some of them are unhappy in life. If you are unhappy, you take that out on anything and everything.”he said.
Due to health issues, Kidi earlier this year took the painful choice to postpone his scheduled American tour, which was supposed to cover about ten cities.
Now, Kidi claims that he is eager to start doing what he loves most making music and that he has fully recovered from his sabbatical. He has just dropped a brand-new tune called “Likor” to celebrate his comeback, which features the famous reggae dancehall music Stonebwoy.
