Christopher Bonney has revealed lack of playing time was the reason for not continuing his stay at Hearts of Oak.
The former Asante Kotoko and Ebusua Dwarfs right back insisted, the new coach at Hearts of Oak had different plans and that didn’t include him.
Hearts of Oak released list of five players to have mutually parted ways with the club.
Joseph Esso, Benjamin Agyare, Benard Arthur, Abubakar Traore and Christopher Bonney are the five players the Hearts of Oak parted companies with mutually.

“I didn’t renew my contract with Hearts because I was not fitting into the squad of the new coach. It would be time-wasting if I continued my stay at Hearts of Oak” Bonny told Kumasi based OTEC FM.
He eulogised having the chance to play of both Hearts of Oak and Asante Kotoko adding that his doors are currently open for any local club but remain fixated on a move abroad.

“It’s very fortunate and a big privilege to play for both Kotoko and Hearts. It’s not easy for a player to serve the two biggest clubs in Ghana. Though my doors are open for any local club, I am now focusing on a foreign contract” He added
