Ghanaian dancehall gem, Shatta Wale has denied reports of him being the reason why his bosom friend Medikal parted ways with his manager Flow Delly.[ads2]
As reported by Kyfilla.com, Medikal announced in a radio interview last week that he is no longer working with his longtime manager Flow Delly who has been with him since the start of his music career.
Many where shocked as to what could be the reason for the break-up with some pointing figures at Shatta Wale as the cause.
But the “Melissa” hit-maker has reacted to the reports murmuring in the media, stressing that Medikal is old enough to take his decisions and he [Shatta Wale] had no hand in the break-up.[ads3]
“I look like a hawk, but I don’t catch chickens,” the outspoken musician told Prince Tsegah on Hit FM, “I am not saying this should happen but even if Medikal is not with his wife they will say it’s Shatta who caused it.”
“I will say Medikal and Flow are brothers, and they are all doing good, but I cannot pinpoint where all this matter is coming from,” he pointed out.
He also went further to suggest that Medikal had a new team who would project his career to global prominence thus the new choice of management.[ads4]
“Maybe he [Medikal] has a team that he is trying to project his career, but he is letting people know that he has moved on. He and flow are cool. I know they spoke not long ago and Flow is my brother, and he knows I won’t vouch for anything like that…,” he said.
“I don’t dictate for him. He is a whole big man, and he has said it in a way that people will understand that if you want business I have people who can do that… Medikal is a businessman, and he is not saying he has sacked Flow Delly and I know he is working with distributors outside Ghana, and he is okay”, Shatta Wale added.[ads5]
