Asante Kotoko have signed Yahaya Dawuni from Susubiribi Sporting Club on a three year deal as was announced on Tuesday, August 8, 2023.
Asante Kotoko took to Twitter to announce the deal and shared the following statement on their website;
“Asante Kotoko is delighted to announce the signing of centre-back Yahaya Dawuni ahead of the upcoming season. He has penned a contract until 2026.

“Dawuni, 19, who joins from Akim Tafo Susubiribi SC is one of the promising players on the local scene. The Black Stars ‘B’ defender becomes Prosper Narteh Ogum’s first signing as the coach puts the team together for his second stint at the club.
Yahaya said: “I feel so happy to be here. Kotoko is my dream club and I am honoured to be part of this great family, to be able to dorn the iconic red jersey and also play in front of the loyal supporters at the Baba Yara Stadium.”
