The Executive Chairman of Asante Kotoko, Dr. Kwame Kyei says he has no idea of what happened in their game with Aduana Stars at the Nana Agyeman Badu II Park on Wednesday.
It happened that Kotoko and Aduana Stars played the first half of the game with ten players each with their eleventh players sitting at the touchline waiting for the other to enter the pitch first.
According to reporters, Aduana Stars’ Farouk Mohammed and Kotoko midfielder Martin Antwi sat at the touchline throughout the first forty-five minutes despite their names in the starting line-ups.
It’s believed that the two players failed to enter the pitch because of a reported ‘juju’ (Black Magic) case which has received massive criticisms and condemnations from pundits and lovers of the game.
However, Dr. Kwame Kyei has revealed that, he should be excluded from the criticisms since he was not part of the contingents that went to Dormaa Ahenkro for the game.
Dr. Kwame Kyei indicated that he doesn’t believe in juju and even his concentration is on getting a pitch for the team for their home games.
“I don’t believe in juju in football. Personally I have no idea of what happened in Dormaa and I have to be excluded from the criticisms since I was not part of the contingents for the Dormaa trip.

“I have been at Adako Jachie for the past days, hoping to make the place convenient to host our league matches but am surprised people are including me to what happened in Dormaa”, Dr. Kwame Kyei told Asempa FM.
Despite the hullabaloos before, and during the game, Asante Kotoko were pipped by a goal to nil by Aduana Stars courtesy Samuel Bioh’s strike.
