Ghana International Latif Atta Blessing says he nearly became a taxi driver after being rejected by Kumasi Asante Kotoko.
According to the Los Angeles goal poacher, he was rejected by the Porcupine Warriors after two days of trials which made him wanting to quit football.
“I went to Kotoko for justify after someone recommended me to them. For two days, they didn’t even let me train but what broke my heart was that, even the jersey that I wore was taken from me and given to aother player so I had to sit there barechested whole day”, He told Atinka TV.
“I regretted becoming a footballer that day. I thought I wasn’t good enough and so told my mum to buy a taxi for me so that I drive.
Blessing was the top scorer in the 2015/16 season of the Ghana Premier League with 17 goals, two more goals ahead of Yahaya Mohammed and Kwasi Donsu of Medeama Sporting Club.
