The right back touched on a number of issues including Otumfuo’s purported ban on the club not to sign any new player in the next two years.
According to Atta Kusi, who just joined AshantiGold SC in July 2019, it’s a great decision from the Wise King.
“I was very pleased hearing Otumfuo’s pronouncement on his club to flee from signing players. The main problem of the club has been the change of coaches and sacking of players. Without consistency, you can never finish. You must be consistent in order to reach the level of Al Ahly’s and the rest. I perfectly support Otumfuo’s decision.
“Asante Kotoko is where i suffered the most in my footballing career because i couldn’t accomplish my targets.
“My position was under threat where there was an intense competition, change of coaches and other factors really affected my vision.
“I was simply unlucky at the club” – Atta Kusi told KwakuOseiTV.
