Former Hearts of Oak forward Charles Taylor has shockingly revealed that he wants Hearts Of Oak to be relegated at the end of the season.
After their 2-0 defeat to Asante Kotoko, Hearts of Oak are now just two points clear of the relegation zone with three games to go. If Dreams FC and Great Olympics win their games in hand, the Phobians will sink to the relegation zone painting a picture of how poor a the season has been for the Ghana Premier League giants.
Fans, pundits and football enthusiasts have shared thoughts on what it will mean should Hearts Of Oak be relegated. This might just go down as Hearts of Oak’s poorest season in their history.
Speaking to Angel TV on Monday, Charles Taylor said, “I want Hearts of Oak to go to relegation. They should dissolve the Hearts of Oak board because there’s no NEVER SAY DIE spirit in the team again,” continued the legendary forward.
“If necessary Hearts of Oak should go to relegation because their supporters are going through a lot,” Charles Taylor added.
Hearts of Oak will play three key matches against Nations FC, Bechem United, and their cross-town rivals, Accra Great Olympics. These three games are extremely important, and they may potentially be in danger if they draw any of them.
In the last 9 GPL games, Hearts Of Oak have won only two and lost 7.
