Well-known Ghanaian traditional kologo-stringing musician King Ayisoba has declared that he is only open to collaborating with accomplished musicians, especially those who have won Grammy Awards.
In a recent interview with A1 Radio, the “I Want to See My Father” crooner said that he feels that he has reached a level of greatness with his music and would not settle for anything less than to work exclusively with artists who share his caliber of talent.
He declared, “At this point, I do not think I need collaboration, and even if I do feature, I need someone who has previously won a Grammy.”
King Ayisoba expressed his desire for international recognition and his desire to work with musicians who could elevate his music to a Grammy-worthy level.
He stated, “I will want to feature someone who can help me get nominated for a Grammy.”
The Grammy Award-winning musician disclosed that a lot of people have supported and believed in him to be a Grammy winner.
He clarified, saying, “I should win a Grammy award, as many people have said.” Consequently, I would like to highlight a well-known individual who has won a Grammy in the hopes of receiving a nomination. We are working on getting someone of the kind.”
