The Chief Executive Officer of Charger Limited the producers of Happy Man Bitters, Dr. Emmanuel Borketey Bortey has expressed his readiness to upgrade the Teshie Stars Park.
Dr. Bortey who is an ardent football loving fan and a person with football development at heart, has expressed his readiness to upgrade the Teshie Stars Park into an ultramodern artificial turf.
In an interview on Accra-based Eclipse Broadcasting Network, Dr. Bortey whose company is sponsoring some Ghana Premier League clubs like Aduana Stars and others believes the move to upgrade the park is a means of given back to the society.

“I promise to renovate the Teshie star park to help footballers in the community.
“I will save for it and also I will discuss that with the Management of Happy Man Bitters if they could support me to put up the Astro Turf at Teshie. I want to also lend a helping hand in finding a big footballer at Teshie”
He disclosed that the motive to upgrade the park is because he is a native of the community and wants to help unearth young talents in sports as a way of contributing towards the development of the talent-rich community.

The Teshie Star Park has produced great football stars like Laryea Kingston, Sammy Adjei, John Boye, Richard Kingson, Daniel Amartey among a host of others.
