Head coach of division one league outfit Star Madrid, Michael Osei has said his salary at the club was far better than when he was with Asante Kotoko and Liberty Professionals.
The former Asante Kotoko midfielder served as the assistant coach of the club under both Didi Dramani and David Duncan and was later elevated to the position of interim head coach in the middle of 2015-2016 season.

Micheal Osei later parted ways with Asante Kotoko after the management of the Ghana Premier League heavyweight failed to confirm him as the substantive head coach.
The astute Ghanaian tactician in somewhere 2018, joined division one league outfit Star Madrid on a three-year deal from Liberty Professionals.
In an exclusive interview on Angel TV, the former Ghana U23 assistant coach disclosed that his salary at Star Madrid was far better than when he was at Asante Kotoko and Liberty Professionals.
“My salary at Star Madrid was like three-four times better than when I was with Liberty Professionals and even Asante Kotoko.

“I joined Star Madrid on a three-year deal not because of money but the vision Nana Appiah Mensah (NAM 1) had. The man was very generous and even gave me a land cruiser.
“I won’t leave the man [Nana Appiah Mensah] now that he is in crisis, he was generous to me and I want to he loyal to him” Osei added.
