The Vice Chancellor of the Takoradi Technical University (TTU), Professor John Frank Eshun has said he will sack any lecturer or staff who will breach the Coronavirus protocols in campus.
He has threatened following a reports at the University that final year students at the BTech ICT class breached the social distancing protocols.
At an Emergency Convocation Meeting at the University, Professor Frank Eshun, stated emphatically that, he will not sit down for the government to sack him because of a lecturer’s negligence hence he will rather sack any lecturer who will pay deaf ears to the safety protocols.

“I will not let the President fire me because of your negligence, I’d rather fire you first” Rev. Prof. John Frank Eshun emphasized.
“Government has made delivery of sufficent Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), “and we’ve even procured additional additional ones to complement it”.
“In terms of lecture theater space, the school has quiet sizeable and conducive ones to support learning without breaching the preventive protocols”, he added.
