Kwaku Boahen, the Deputy Communications Director of the leading opposition party, National Democratic Congress (NDC) has vowed to quit politics should President Akufo-Addo retain power in the forthcoming elections.
According to Kwaku Boahen, there is no way Akufo-Addo will continue to be President of Ghana in the upcoming general elections.

He has vowed that, he will also resign as the Deputy Communications Director for the NDC if President Akufo-Addo retain the presidential seat in the December polls
“If Akufo-Addo wins the 2020 December polls, I will resign as the Deputy Communications Officer of the NDC, I will stop doing politics,” he said on Adom FM’s Dwaso Nsem in Monday morning.

He believes President Akufo-Addo has intentionally deployed soldiers to the NDC strongholds just to prevent people in those areas from registering for the voters ID to vote in the upcoming December polls.
“But it [plan to prevent NDC members from voting] won’t work, he will lose the 2020 elections,” he added.
