The Member of Parliament for Ketu North, James Klutse Avedzi has revealed intension of not contesting for the seat again.
According to legislator, he will not battle for the Ketu North seat again after the expiration of his fifth term.[ads2]
The Deputy Minority Leader in Parliament believes he has done his best as far as development in the constituency is concerned and of the conviction that it is the time to bow out and hand over the mantle to another person in 2025.
“I have decided that five terms are enough for me, I do not intend to run again. 20 years is enough for me, I think someone else should take over in 2024″, he said during an interview on Face-to-face on Citi TV.[ads3]
“I have already informed some of my constituents. My decision is not because I have become unpopular, I believe there is no election I run that I will not win.”[ads5]
