The International Games and Competitions Committee with the responsibility of overseeing Ghana’s participation in the international games met Sports Minister, Hon Isaac Asiamah to discuss the country’s preparations ahead of the All African Games.
The Committee headed by the National Sports Authority boss, Professor Peter Twumasi, during the meeting briefed the sector minister on Ghana’s preparations towards the 2019 All African Games which will be held in Morocco.
The Committee however, informed the sector minister it maiden press briefing scheduled for Thursday, June 27, 2019 at the Media Centre of the Accra Sports Stadium.
Meanwhile, the 2019 All African Games will commence on 19-31st August at the capital of Morocco, Rabat.
