Western Regional Football Association Vice Chairman, Nana Kaku Bullu affectionately called as Jamkay has revealed his intensions to revamp juvenile football in the region when voted as the FA Chairman.
According to the bankroller for Wages FC- a division two club at Asanda in the Ellembelle District, Western region, he is poised to revive football in the Twin City and therefore all delegates must cast their votes for him during the elections.
Speaking to Kyfilla.com in a one-on-one interview, the former Western regional Boxing Authority Chairman, explained his readiness to revive juvenile football when elected as the overall Chairman for the Western Regional Football Association by saying ” I will ensure that all districts chairmen work harder by organizing special tournament for the colts clubs in their jurisdiction.
” Students that will be selected as the best during inter-schools and colleges at the basic school level will be registered by some selected clubs in the region. This under my administration will increase students participation for sports especially football in our various schools in the region.
“Moreover, am a club administrator and I know the hardship most juvenile football administrators go through because there’s no sponsors. Am determined to influence the other regional Chairmen when voted to power to help convinced the GFA Marketing Department to look for sponsors for Division Two and Colts leagues in the country. This will help reduce burdens on most club administrators in the region as well.
“I will also ensure that, all division two players in the region get insured and am very determined in this in particular, because when the players get injured, most of them becomes a burden on their family and what if the family don’t have enough to nurse the injury then the dream of becoming a professional footballer in the near future get tarnished. I think am the sole person to succeed Kojo Yankah as the FA boss with all this. There are more but am waiting till the campaign starts.
Jamkay known in real life as James Asiedu Kanyah also disclossed that, he has no qualms with his boss Kojo Yankah as it’s being speculated in the media.
“There’s no problem between Kojo Yankah and I because he’s my boss and I can never have a banter with him. I can only advise him but he can also choose to take it or leave it and it doesn’t mean I should have a problem with him. Do you know he is the one campaigning for me to become the new Western regional FA Chairman??.
